Our engineering team recently conducted a follow-up visit to a customer site operating an MTW178G grinding mill for limestone processing. The system produces 325 mesh (D90) fine powder, specifically used for flue gas desulfurization (FGD) in power plants.
During the visit, our engineers carried out a comprehensive inspection of the equipment, evaluated operating conditions, and provided on-site technical guidance to ensure optimal performance. The MTW178G mill has demonstrated stable operation, consistent output fineness, and reliable capacity, fully meeting the requirements of desulfurization processes.
Limestone powder at 325 mesh D90 plays a key role in FGD systems by efficiently absorbing sulfur dioxide (SO₂) from flue gases, helping power plants comply with environmental regulations and reduce emissions.
With its advanced grinding technology, the MTW178G offers high efficiency, low energy consumption, and precise particle size control. The system’s robust design and centralized maintenance concept contribute to reduced downtime and long-term operational stability.
This follow-up visit further strengthened cooperation with the client and ensured the continuous, efficient operation of the production line, supporting sustainable and environmentally friendly power generation.
