Introduction

Desulfurization gypsum, a by-product of FGD systems in steel mills, contains ≥93% calcium sulfate dihydrate. A company, in compliance with environmental policies, is developing this project to transform this residue into high-value products, thus reducing the exploitation of natural gypsum and promoting a sustainable circular economy.
