Working Principle

A ball mill mainly consists of a cylinder, liners, grinding media (steel or ceramic balls), and a drive system. During operation, the motor drives the cylinder via a gearbox. Under the effect of centrifugal force and friction, the media are raised and then fall, grinding the materials through impact and attrition. Fine particles are evacuated through a discharge system, thus achieving the desired particle size.
