A clinker grinding line is the final stage of cement manufacturing, where cement clinker is ground together with gypsum and optional additives to produce finished cement products with specified fineness and performance characteristics. Working Principle

1. Material Storage and Batching
Clinker, gypsum, and supplementary materials are stored in dedicated silos. Each material is extracted through speed-controlled feeders and weighed by belt scales to achieve accurate proportioning before entering the grinding system.

2. Pre-Grinding and Classification
The mixed materials are conveyed to the grinding system, where pre-grinding devices and classifiers separate coarse and fine fractions. Coarse particles are returned for further grinding, while qualified materials proceed to the next stage.

3. Grinding System
The core grinding unit can adopt different configurations according to project scale and energy targets, such as:
Roller press + ball mill combined system
Vertical roller mill grinding system
Ball mill closed-circuit system
During grinding, impact, compression, and shear forces reduce particle size to the required cement fineness.

4. Separation and Dust Collection
Ground material is lifted to a high-efficiency separator. Qualified fine powder is collected as finished cement, while coarse particles are recycled. Exhaust air is treated by bag filters to ensure low emission levels and environmentally compliant operation.

5. Cement Storage and Dispatch
Finished cement is transported to storage silos and subsequently delivered in bulk or packed form according to customer requirements.
